An emerging force in the brokerage market
First Anchor Risk Management Limited has successfully established itself as a household name in the insurance brokers’ market in Ghana. The company’s commission income has grown at an average of 75% per annum, over the past five years. Not being satisfied with this achievement, the company is gearing up to further increase its commission for the year 2014. As at the end of the third quarter of 2014, the company had generated a commission income of Nine Hundred and Six thousand and Seventy Seven Ghana Cedis, Fifty-Eight pesewas (GHC 906, 077.58); which is about 42% over and above the total performance for the year 2013 where a commission of Six cialis sans ordonnance Hundred and Thirty-Eight Thousand, Four Hundred and Twenty One Ghana Cedis (GHC 638, 421) was recorded.
This success and growth of the company are due largely to the excellent customer service delivered through our staff. The company has in the past, invested in technology that is impacting positively on our service delivery. We will continue to invest in technology since it makes it easier to deliver premium service to our clients. Our primary obligation is to deliver the quality of service that will touch the hearts and minds of our clients, to whom we owe our success.
To be able to achieve this, we have had to invest quite heavily in our human resources. We have been able to attract a team which comprises young and enterprising men and women. The insurance business, as we know, thrives on technical ability and commitment to excellent service. Providing excellent technical advisory service and demonstrating the required knowledge are two fundamental elements that make our young and smart team most relevant to our clients’ businesses. Simply put, we attract, train and motivate our staff to be able to deliver on our promise.
We have been sponsoring our staff over the past three years to attend the Willis Master of Energy Programme in the United Kingdom, and we will continue to do this in order to enhance the ability of the company to effectively handle businesses in the oil and gas sector. The company consistently sponsors staff to attend conferences locally and externally to expose them to current global trends in the insurance industry. We consider this as very critical to the continuous growth of the company.
First Anchor is a proud affiliate of the GIB African Alliance; a network of insurance brokers drawn from all over the World. We, therefore, have a pool of knowledge to tap into to underwrite and place very complex risks.
We remain committed to providing our clients with the best of services in the coming years; and this, we would do, by continuously sharpening the skills of our staff, as well as investing in the relevant technology that will strengthen our resolve, as a company in search of excellence.
